Hotels and Game film Options

Posted by Piranhas Lacrosse Club at Jul 17, 2020 12:30PM PDT

REMAINING PAYMENT IS PAST DUE!

Many parents have asked about hotels/inns to stay at. Here was have our options. This is not mandatory as if you feel you want to drive up you may, or you can stay at hotels.

Here are some of the closer hotels that people said they would be staying at
Days in Hotel- $80 a night
https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/days-inn/campton-new-hampshire/days-inn-campton/overview?CID=LC:DI:20160927:RIO:Local:SM-dineng&iata=00093796

Red Carpet Inn & Suites Plymouth, NH- $65 a night
https://www.stayhihotels.com/property/red-carpet-inn-suites-plymouth-nh/?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=MyBusiness

Both are about a 5-15 minute drive to the location. Primetime has not offered hotel accommodations so it’s a choice for anyone wanting to look to stay somewhere. Please feel free to check your options

As far as the game film goes, we usually have someone hop in and film for us on a camera, but Primetime is offering to film at a price. This is also up to you and has nothing to do with the team, you can see the link here.
It is important to note that game film is extremely expensive and they do price it high. They may have nice effects and whatnot, but that’s what you pay for with them. With us, we use a normal camera and tripod to film, and hudl for effects. The choice is yours. Here is the link for film

Updates to Games- URGENT RULES

I wish to thank everyone for bearing with us on the updates and uncertainty.
Here are a couple of announcements.

1. Carpool- we may set up a carpool system in order to go to Boston, or you may go yourself. If you wish to volunteer let me know. If you think you will need a ride, let us know as well and we can see if we can get a carpool situation in order if you are already planning on carpooling great!

2. The locations of the NH tournaments haven been updated. They are finalizing who goes where but there are 3, Pembroke, Plymouth, and Epping. The only ones that are still being finalized are the tournament from 21-24, the one August 8th is 100% in Epping.

3. They have released rules for the tournaments, and I suggest reading them over, they are saying they are going to be pretty strict with these rules.

4. Players- The tournaments are about a week and half away, but start letting coaches know now where you are playing, in order to have them aware to keep an eye out for you as these events are live.

5. I will be looking for volunteers for filming, photos, and stat holder for the team.

Again I want to thank everyone for jumping in for the season in order to have some fun that was lost in the spring, it truly has been an honor to coach everyone and we all can’t wait for game day!

MAJOR SCHEDULE CHANGE

Due to Governor Baker pushing back dates for larger events such as tournaments, NH has become the best option for the same date lacrosse tournaments. Because of this, all 4 days of the tournament have been moved to New Hampshire. By the end of the week, we will know times and whatnot.

This means the tournaments from the 21-24 are all in NH and that the games on Ag 8th is still in NH.
