This Summer has come to close with some high notes for many of our players, with a majority of them even being players to return again in the Fall. Of those players, many have matched or even broken game and season records. Now that Mohawks has had two recorded seasons, Career Records will also be added, as well as Team Records.

First, we will go through people who matched game records:
Cam Dewolf finished his season matching 3 points(1 goal, 2 assists) against Harlem Lacrosse at the Bulldog Brawl. Ryan Etzo also got 3 points(1 goal, 2 assists) against HGR at the NH 64, Both Dewolf and Etzo now share the point record with Nathan Taylor. Along with Etzo matching the point record, he also matched the assist record in the same game, and now shares it with Dewolf, Kobe Louangsabouth, and Nathan Taylor.

Onto the broken game records, Captain Devon Smith had a stellar season in net, and broke the game save record with 11 saves against HGR at the Primetime Shootout, with the record being held previously by the previous Captain in net Evan Falandys with 10 saves. Chris Carbone Jr also had a game record of his broken, breaking the previous captain Pete Spylios’s caused turnover record of 4 with 5 caused turnovers against the Prospectors at the Bulldog Brawl. Griffon Caiazzo also broke Falandys’s previous save percentage record of 70%(7/10 saves) with a percentage of 71.43%(5/7 saves) against Summit. Maverick Lyons had broken two records, both held by Lucas Taylor previously. Taylor’s faceoff win percentage of 85.71%(6/7 wins) and 6 faceoff wins were both broken when Lyons went 7/8 against Summit, which was 87.5%.

As far as season records go, 3 season records were broken. Chris Carbone Jr broke Pete Spylios’s 21 caused turnovers with his 23 caused turnovers for the season. Captain Devon Smith also broke Evan Falandys’s save record of 58 saves with his own season-high of 67 saves in a season. The biggest record smash was Lucas Taylor’s 13 face-off wins in a season being smashed by Maverick Lyons 29 faceoff wins!

To all players congratulations on a fantastic, unexpected, and tough summer. Check out the new career records to see how your progress is going, and the team records to see which squad had the better stats.
